Mid-Week Tranquility - Yaaay!

Good morning lovelies...well it's morning as I type this but it could very well be much later when you read this!

Are you a morning person or a night owl? Or both? (That was random...it just popped into my head and I thought I would ask!) I think I'm a little of both. I don't mind getting up early even if I stayed up far too late but as the years go on it gets a teeny tiny bit more difficult to get up early if I was up too late!

It's quite a lovely morning here in Jacksonville, the early AM hours is the only time we get a break from the humid and hot weather, I'm enjoying the 65 degrees and drove to work with my windows all the way down. I felt like today's Mid-Week Tranquility photo sort of embodied perfect weather and serenity.

So here it is, take to take a break, and relax.

Have you come across any photos recently that just made you stop and smile?

PS - I can't wait to show you a few things that have been added to the parts of my house that you may have already seen in Mondays Tour of Homes post!

  1. I am a true night owl. I get motivated to do things later in the evening, which is in sharp contrast to my husband the morning person and my son the toddler. I don't usually end up winning that one and am dragging myself out of bed in the morning!

  2. I used to be able to sleep allll day when I was younger... but now it feels like I get up earlier and earlier regardless of when I go to bed! Kind of frustrating. Sometimes it's nice to sleep past 8:00. :P :P This picture is gorgeous... I absolutely love the lighting. :) Going to check out the Tour of Homes post. I missed it!

  3. I used to be able to stay up so late in college, and now I have to try really hard to be awake past midnight. I blame my husband, because this didn't happen before we were married. Ha ha.

I want to see the new stuff you've done to the house! Am I sensing a new light fixture...?

  4. Night owl, night owl, 100% night owl. Waking up is so incredibly hard for me. No matter how much sleep I've gotten. But ask me to stay up and I can stay up all night long. Easy. Ironically, the sunrise is my favorite time of day. Does that make sense to anyone because if it does, please explain it to me! haha!
