What I Wore - *Stripes, Jeans, and Flats Oh My!*

Well lovelies, another weekend has come and gone, and here we are again at the start of another work week! Well for me anyway! It's amazing how fast 48 hours flies by when they are your only two days off!

Let us recap the weekend.

I'll go first! :p

Friday after work I spent an hour at the post office trying to return two dresses I ordered from Dorothy Perkins. That was a mess! People get so mad at the post office! I tried my darndest to not make eye contact with an agitated biker fella who was to say the least...unhappy with his current post office experience.

Saturday was a full day! I had a hair appointment in the morning then spent the day with my friend Sonia. It was pouring down rain for most of the day so I waited out the storm before I drove home. Plus I got to play with her feline crew. Eli and Jane. <3

Sunday I had to bring my little Charlie girl to the vet to get a check up...gotta make sure she's healthy! I'll share photos of her angry "why am I here" eyes she was giving me all day on Wednesday! : )

What about you? How was your weekend?

-----------------------------------------------------------

Time for the outfit! There was a break in the rain so I took my chance and got some photos!

Being that it was awful weather Saturday I thought it was best to dress accordingly. So I threw on my trusty jeans (I own ONE pair!) and some flats and I was on my way!

My neighbors were outside using their barbecue...and I have a tendency to be seen and not heard with my neighbors so this was me...being sneaky aka attempting to be invisible and quiet!

My attempt at showing my shoes...

It's that time again...I've got Dance Dance Fever...this dance was a rain dance because it poured shortly after the photos!

Here comes the rain...you can see the sky behind me...

See I do wear jeans!

Wears from Head to Toe -

Earrings - World Market
Cardigan - Ebay originally from F21
Shirt - Target
Jeans - Charlotte Russe (from over 5 years ago!)
Shoes - DSW - brand of shoe is Chinese Laundry (they sparkle and they're blue!)

That's it for this week's What I Wore! It was a jeans kinda weekend for me.

Talk to you soon!

  1. LOVE this! Anything with a cardigan and/or skinny jeans is awesome in my book.

I'm going to write your Hunger Games email while I drink my coffee today! So watch out for that. :-)

  5. I want that cardi! And I feel you on post office drama, I swear that every time I'm there, there's always something totally crazy going on. Usually for me, it's some random creeper that wants to be BFFs while we wait in line, telling me WAY more info than I'll ever need about their life... For some reason, even with the creepers, I love going to the post office, though!
