What I Wore - *Snow White and the Men in Black*

Hey guys!

Well first let me explain the title of this post. Initially when these outfit photos were taken we were on our way to see Snow White and the Huntsmen so I wore red in honor of Snow's red cape she wears...at least in the Disney version!

Then our plan was thwarted! The 1:30 showing of Snow White was sold out and the next showtime wasn't until 3:30! I was not happy BUT we ended up seeing Men in Black 3 because it started in the next half hour. It ended up being a good choice because it was great. Josh Brolin was AMAZING as the young Tommy Lee Jones! He looked pretty slick too.

So next weekend (my birthday weekend!) we will be seeing Snow White and then I'll have to wear something for the blue portion of her cape. I believe the top side of her cape was blue and the under side was red. Heaven knows I have to be dressed in theme.

Have any of you seen either movie? What did you think?

After the movie we had dinner at Pepper's...where we had our first date to celebrate our 2 year anniversary! I swear...they have the BEST margaritas.

**************************************************

Okay...photo time...PS it was HUMID as all hell so there is fog that I tried to downplay as best I could when I edited them. And I'm wearing tights because it gets cold in the theater...not because it's cold outside!

I thought I'd include my bag since I never seem to bring my purse out for photos.

Begin spin...

End spin

Mark said that it looked like I was holding up the fog...I couldn't use any photos from the beginning because the shots were foggy and my glasses were completely fogged.

Laughing because I probably look insane wearing tights when the weather is so hot.

Shoes!

Guys...it was so humid I couldn't even stand it. Having bangs like this makes summer almost unbearable because it's like wearing a HELMET!

One of the first photos...I had to take my glasses off otherwise you wouldn't see my eyes!

Florida is lame. But we were lucky to get a break in the rain so we could snap these before we left!

Talk to you soon!

  2. I loved Snow White - was a bit annoyed at some bits but I think that's the cynic in me lol. Wanted to go to see MIB3 but had to cancel on my friend as I wasn't very well this weekend.

  3. That's a great shade of red. And I TOTALLY know what you mean about humidity making a hair helmet! That's part of why I grew out my bangs after having some for 24 years.

I totally forgot MIB3 was out already! The last thing I saw was the Avengers (loved it!), so I need to get back in my movie groove for all the good summer stuff.

  5. That outfit is ADORABLE and that dress is so rad. You have the skin and the hair to pull off so much red like that. Your pretty hair actually resembles Snow White from the Disney version! You just need a bow! love love love

I haven't seen Snow White and Huntsman yet but I heard it's good. I really want to see Men in Black 3. The previews look *hilarious*!

On the subjects of movies, I also wouldn't mind seeing the Avengers a fourth time. Hehe. :D

  10. Just got your blog comment! My chill pills are prescription. I see a therapist every other week and I get them prescribed from her. Sorry I don't have any OTC solution to share!

  14. You hair is so cute- I really love the cute. Bangs are always hard in the summer, I can't imagine what they're like with humidity too. What a perfect outfit for Snow White, you'll have to break it out again next weekend :) Birthday weekend, eh?? What day?

  15. I love your glasses! I bought a pair that looked a lot like that.... only to be told the lenses needed for my prescription were too thick and couldn't be cut that shape. Being blind is rough.
