Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Review and Swatches - Striking

Hey everyone!

So I'm back this week with another installment of lipstick reviews!

Today I have Striking from the matte balm collection of lippies from Revlon.

I won't include any "where to find links" because these can be found at any drugstore or Target/Walmart big chain stores.

Let's get to it!

Striking
(orange/red satin matte finish)

**after 3 hours of wear**
Primer -
Not a stitch of primer
Coats -
Lots...maybe 8-10.
But I like my lippies to be bold so because I applied a lot of coats it's a darker color than if you weren't as heavy handed.
Staying Power -
3/10
Yeah after three hours of wear without any eating. I had a frappe from Starbucks and that was it...so considering the lack of real contact with anything besides a straw...the wear was pretty bad.
But it did fade evenly which is nice. It wasn't drying so even though it was fading pretty quick it wasn't much of a bother in regards to how my lips felt.
Color Feathering/Bleeding/Build Up/Caking -
Minimal feathering/bleeding/build up. Considering this is a matte finish and I didn't use any primer or moisturizer this had a great formula. I do have another color in this matte line that build up is much more of an issue (I forget the name of it...it's a brick red) so I was thrilled that this one didn't have the same caking issue.

See ya tomorrow!
