Thursday, January 8, 2015
My oh my do I have some fabulous to share today!
When I saw the inspiration for the new collection from Mystic Muse Nail Lacquer on their FB page...I just couldn't wait to see it!
For those of you who haven't seen the hints...click here to see the photo.
The Silver Screen Collection will be an ongoing collection. How exciting! Polishes will be added throughout the year. I cannot wait to see what the new additions will be because the first three are freaking fabulous.
This collection releases TOMORROW! Woo hoo!
I will give the color inspiration and description (provided by the maker) at the start of each section of photos and a brief review at the end.
Let's get this Silver Screen party started!
Harlow
(Named after one of the original Silver Screen Vamps herself! Harlow is a rich, deep berry jelly with gold flakes.
2-3 Coats recommended.)

**direct sun - your eyes aren't playing tricks - it really does brighten up in the sun!**

Blushing Starlet
**Starlet, A young actress with aspirations to become a star**
(Like its namesake Blushing Starlet is a fresh, beautiful, neutral beige, full of glimmer that when the light hits just right produces a beautiful blush sheen)

On The Silver Screen
(A beautiful, majestic silver holo. 2-3 Coats recommended)

All the glamorous ladies lined up in a row.

Coats -
Harlow - Two thin coats then one regular coat.
Blushing Starlet- Two coats.
On The Silver Screen - Three thin coats. This has a thinner formula than the other two and it's important you wait for each coat to dry for optimal application/finish.
Color Intensity -
Harlow - I'm obsessed with this. Named after the beautiful vixen Jean Harlow this vampy beauty is so rich and bold. Gold and red...so glam...so fierce. Perfection.
Blushing Starlet - I don't actually own any rose gold-esque polish so this was a treat. It's perfect for a neutral but jazzed up enough to pack a punch.
On The Silver Screen - Oh my. While the formula was a little on the thin side the final result is epic. My camera was going cuckoo indoors and in the sun. The holo is alive and kicking in this beauty. I don't always love silver but this one has a gray tone to it that makes it so special. So stunning.
Base Coat - Liquid Lacquer base coat
Oh! Make sure to swing by my IG throughout the day because I will be sharing videos of these beauties in direct sun! @ThatGalJenna is me...come by and see!
Are you in love like I am? I cannot wait to see what will be added through the year!
This collection will launch tomorrow! Make sure to like Mystic Muse Nail Lacquer on FB to stay up to date! Also recently there was a big announcement about a subscription box from Mystic Muse! All of that info is also on the FB page also.

Hey coffee breakers!
I have a snazzy little mix of things to share with you today.
A mix of old and new and of course...a cocktail.
I've got a lot to share with you tomorrow so I'll keep this one short and sweet!
Let's get to it shall we?
Feeling a little atomic this week
Oh Audrey <3
I'm completely entranced by this photo and the makeup.
I need this to be my room...like ASAP.
Cherry Caipirissima? Yes please!
Trying to keep this in the forefront of my mind...I'm ready for the second part of the quote!

NailNation 3000 Review and Swatches - House Party @ Chloe's
Tuesday, January 6, 2015
Hey friends!
I felt compelled to share some NailNation goodness with ya today!
I've had this beauty in my drawer for quite some time now and finally decided to give it a try.
Maria makes the most beautiful polishes but she really knocks it out of the proverbial park with purples (and reds...okay and everything) and this is no exception.
A new collection just recently launched also! The Rainbow Bridge Collection is now available. Each color in the collection has a personal story associated it with it. If you have some time to check the shop and read the stories...I highly recommend it. So much love.
Let's have a look at the pretty purple polish I have to share today!

Coats -
Two easy coats. No issues with staining, application, or formula.
Color Intensity -
I'm bummed that it was overcast over the weekend when I wore this beauty. I couldn't truly capture all the holo goodness! I don't have many light purple almost pastel holographic polishes so this is a favorite of mine!

NerdLacquer Review and Swatches - Alecto
Monday, January 5, 2015
Oh my.
So sorry for the radio silence this past week! It was unplanned...hence why I didn't mention it in my post last Monday...but I'm happy that I took the mini break.
My husband, who is in grad school, ended up getting the week off of school/work. It was unexpected and last minute. I figured the best use of my time would be to spend it with him since he's been so busy recently!
I'm back in 2015 with my regularly scheduled programming.
First up in 2015 I've got a NerdLacquer for ya.
NerdLacquer has been restocking recently. I think three or four time in the last two or three months. So why not post a little something? Better yet...this one is still in stock on the site!
(hot orange spiked with turquoise glitter, translucent blue flakes, plus aqua and purple shimmer)

Coats -
Three thin coats. No issues with formula or application.
Color Intensity -
I know orange isn't always a favorite but this orange is so bright but soft all at the same time. The mix of colors in the glitter...amazing. A MUST have if you ask me!
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat -
I hope you had a lovely New Years Eve/Day and are enjoying the start of the new year!
I will see you again tomorrow!
