What I Wore Wednesday - One Pair of Tights to Rule Them All!

I promise I'm not exaggerating when I say these tights are the end all be all tights.

I know...how can I say that when I HAVE SO MANY TIGHTS??

When I first saw these babies I didn't realize the "nude" portion of them would be transparent so its my actual skin color that shows through. Because of that it gives the Aztec print a LOT of attention.

These are not tights you want to wear if you DON'T want attention. I can't wear them without people asking if they're tattoos or tights.

So without further delay...

Dress - Old dress from H&M - bought second hand
Crochet vest - very old...from Francesa's
THE TIGHTS - originally from (surprise surprise) a zulily sale - if the sale is still live today (it may not be) that link will take you to the listing. If that link doesn't work you can buy them here too.
Necklace - originally from zulily
Shoes - Hautelook sale - brand is ANNA shoes
Polish - My Ten Friends in Starry night
Lipstick - MAC Girl About Town

Bear Pawlish Review - Nevermore

Back again for another round of Bear Pawlish!

Before yesterday had you heard of the brand before? It wasn't until a few months ago that I had. Then little by little I saw more and more people sharing photos of their new Bear Pawlish polish.

Like I mentioned yesterday in my "wrap up" of the post/polish, Bear Pawlish, is really beginning to make a big name for themselves in the world of holographic polish. Go figure I don't have a holo polish to show you! At least not this week. I do have a few holos from Bear Pawlish in my stash though that I'll have to share soon!

With all THAT being said. I have a oh so versatile glitter topper to share with you today. I was incapable of choosing just ONE color for the base of the topper. There were too many good options! So today I have three sets of photos with three different base colors. Really it's more like three completely different polishes because it looks SO different in each set of photos.

Let's have a look shall we?

(For the Poe lovers! This is a super chunky glitters in all sorts of shapes in shades of purple, green, black, with lots of shimmers in between!)

Nevermore over Zoya Mimi

 Look at the little star!

Nevermore over Essie Licorice

The black is SO shiny under the base coat that when the light hit my nails in certain angles it made it look wrinkly but it's not!

Nevermore over Essie Chinchilly

 Annnnd...

Coats -
One to two coats on each color. No issues with glitters. No fishing. The star glitters on my nails weren't fished out! They came out all on their own.
Color Intensity -
This is such a fun topper. As you can see it takes on different looks depending on the color it's over. The bright colors POP on the dark bases (purple/black) but on a lighter base color the glitters all just show so beautifully.
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat - Liquid Lacquer base coat

Bear Pawlish Review - Dragon Was a Fruit

Hey there ladies and gents...heavy on the ladies...not so much the gents.

Just as anticipated I did in fact have a very busy weekend. I wish more was accomplished...there's a lot that's up in the air in regarding what's to come in my life in the upcoming months...so I'm ready for things to be less in the air and more concrete!

But some progress was made I suppose. More on that as things happen!

Anywho...I have a fabulous brand to share with you today AND tomorrow. Same brand, two polishes.

BEAR PAWLISH!! Fun name...fab polishes.

I wanted to break it into two posts because the polish I have planned for tomorrow has A TON of photos. You'll see why bright and early Tuesday!

More importantly I have a oh so sweet and summery polish for ya today!

(Inspired by the colors of a dragon fruit. This is a shimmered white crelly base with glitters in Fuchsia, greens and black rectangles)

Coats -
Three thin coats. For a white based crelly this had awesome coverage. Easy formula. No issues with the coats or opacity or dry time.
Color Intensity -
This is SUCH a fun polish for spring/summer. The white crelly base really gives the glitters a chance to POP and stand out. This would be a great accent nail with a bright holo polish of similar color to any of the glitters. Bear Pawlish is really getting big praise with the holo polishes too! Annnnd now I want to use this as an accent for one of the three holos I bought from Bear Pawlish!
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat - Liquid Lacquer base coat

My Ten Friends Review - Starry Night

Velcome ladies and gents!

Channeling my inner Cabaret there.

Okay so I shared a mani featuring My Ten Friends a couple weeks ago and loved it so much I was compelled to post another ASAP!

I apologize for sharing a polish that isn't easily attainable but it's not impossible! Possibly it'll be restocked in the shop? Maybe I have no idea!

Hopefully at the very least you'll enjoy the photos of it!

(inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's painting - The Starry Night)

Direct Sunlight                                         Indoor - evening light

It's the return of the mac!

Coats -
Two thick coats. Thick because the polish itself is thick due to the heavy mass of glitters and it's a jelly. But nothing that wasn't manageable!
Color Intensity -
This polish is pretty damn outstanding. It's literally Starry Night in polish form. The color match is amazing. I was mesmerized by my fingernails every time I looked at them. Even more in the sunlight because you can REALLY see all the colors in the sun. I know it's not the easiest polish to track down because it hasn't been restocked yet in the shop but it's a must!!
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat - Liquid Lacquer base coat
