Paint Shop Polish - Vampire Diaries Collection

It's a mother freaking Vampire Diaries Collection people!!

Yep, that's how I chose to start the post out, I have no regrets.

I've made it easy for ya like I try to do for all my polish posts...the title of the polish is the direct link to where you can buy it! Yippee!

Paint Shop Polish listened to my cries...okay not really...but I'm sure subconsciously she could hear the cries of Vampire Diaries fans about a polish collection inspired by TVD! There are 12...yes 12...polishes that range from jellies to glitter toppers in this fantabulous collection.

I have three to show you today!

(deep blue jelly lacquer with a blue shimmer as well as various blue glitters with a touch of silver - inspired by the lapis lazuli daylight rings in The Vampire Diaries)

                    Indoors                                                              Direct sunlight

Coats -
One thin coat and one thick coat. Opacity was a breeze with this jelly.
Color Intensity -
Gosh this is so darn pretty. Even more so in person. Definitely my favorite out of the three. It sparkles which you wouldn't think with how dark it is that it would sparkle and pop so much but boy does it! The glitters (which were easy to remove from the bottle and distribute) really give the polish and extra punch!
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat - Liquid Lacquer base coat

(white lacquer with a gold shimmer - inspired by the white oak stake from The Vampire Diaries)

The macros are a better representation of the gold shimmer that is less subtle than it appears in the full mani shots!

Coats -
Three to four coats needed for full opacity. If you use a plain white undie as a base color you could only need one coat of this for that jelly white with gold shimmer.
Color Intensity -
This is so springy and feminine. I was in awe of the pretty gold shimmer in this one. It made the polish feel like SO much more than just a white jelly. Oh so pretty.
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat - Liquid Lacquer base coat

(dark red jelly lacquer with various red and black glitters inspired by The Vampire Diaries' Stefan Salvatore in his darkest state, The Ripper)

THE MACROS!

Coats -
Two regular coats. Easy to bring to opacity. No issues with glitters - except the skull and crossbones I was't able to remove but it could be due to the mini size of the bottle.
Color Intensity -
This was my second fave polish of the collection because I'm such a huge fan of black and red and it was the PERFECT depiction of Stefan as The Ripper. You will feel fierce with this polish on. The bottle played tricks on me because I thought it was going to be black but noooo that my friend is the blood red color that really "comes to life" per say...on the nail!
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat - Liquid Lacquer base coat

Where to find Paint Shop Polish -

Are you a Vampire Diaries fan?? I've watched it since it began what seems like forever ago...and I even custom made a collection last year based on the show.
But I'm thrilled to see a collection that is available to the masses!

See you tomorrow for my 400th post!!

Oh and since I shared this only on my blog's FB page I thought I would share here too...my Easter aka welcome spring mani!
