Mid-Week Tranquility - A Double Dose!

Bonjour Lovelies!
(Channeling Bradley Cooper speaking French)

How has your week been going? Are you in need of some tranquility?

It's been a hectic week at work so I'm more than welcoming to some tranquility AND how about a little laugh too? Well...the cartoon made me laugh anyway!

Now...here is the photo this week that brought me to a happy fall-like tranquil place

via Pinterest -
Hello picnic, good books, wine (yes...always wine!), blanket, and lots of swinging on the tire swing!

Talk to you soon!

It's a Photo Shoot! One of the cutest...ever!

Okay, so not a lot of words today, because there are lots of cute photos to share with you from the kitty photo shoot I did over the weekend!

Meet Jane.
aka
Baby Jane
Sweet Jane
Demon Sheep Jane (she has the loudest sheep-like meow I've ever heard...it's hilarious)

She was adopted by my bestest friend Sonia a little over a week ago from a local shelter here in Jacksonville.
She's a runt for sure, she is almost 3 months old, and SO SO tiny.
Sonia wanted to get lots of photos of Jane as a kitten so that's where I came in.

Here are SOME of the results! I took over 100 photos...

She's on the hunt...as much as you can be on a leash!

She loves her planter on the porch.

Bad kitty...she even had egg in her whiskers!

Mama and baby!

You know I love paws...she has the prettiest little paws too. Gotta love a tortie!

Not gonna lie....

My other half and I picked up the CUTEST picture ever yesterday when out and about running errands and I had to share.

The best part? My other half loves it too!

<3 <3 <3

Even better...it's the first piece of artwork that'll be hung in the bedroom...I am in love with all the colors. I had to take the photo with my cellphone so the colors are super dull in comparison to how they really look. It's very vibrant and bright.

Have you found any "I can't leave the store without this" items over the weekend?

Talk to you soon!

This Weeks Recap of Cats...my evil sweet little lions!

My little gremlions were just screaming to have their photos taken this week. I think they don't think they get enough face time on my blog so in hopes to appease them (in other ways besides treats and food) I thought I'd share some recent shots of them!

Here's Penny...on top of the cabinets in the kitchen...

She starts to roll over whenever I start talking to her...

And continues to roll until she either falls off or I climb up on the counter and rub her fat little belly!

My little roly poly Charlie cat...she curls up as much as she can and just snoozes away...lucky cat!

Ah ha! Caught being a sweet brother and sister pair...

Okay, while I hate to admit this, this is Charlie giving me the stink eye. When I sing (which happens a lot while I'm perusing the internet) she usually is curled up next to me and once I start to sing a little tune...this is the look she gives me until I stop!

Now...for some BIG cats...

My other half and I will be visiting on Saturday (if the rain doesn't stop us) -

I will have my camera in hand and will post photos this weekend! The Catty Shack Ranch isn't a zoo but a place where endangered or rescued "big cats" are brought to be cared for in the closet thing to a "natural" habitat they can be given. Ooooh I can't wait to see the Siberian Tiger!

Wowza! It's Friday!

So I've been out of work sick from my job as a Legal Assistant for the past few days and now I'm back to the reality of no sewing, no cutting, no creativity, no crafting and no cats! Even though those weren't really options while I was sick but still my sewing machine was in my general vicinity! Insert sad face here...oh wait...I can do that and make it a sad kitty face to show just how sad I am!

So now that you have a handle on my current emotions and state of mind, let's brighten up this post, what do ya say?

I'd like to share a couple of things, the first is one of my recent listings on Etsy, for my new line of cat toys that I've named Nip and Kick Sticks. If other cats enjoy them half as as much as my little crew does than the toy is a success! Check out the newest addition of patterns -
And now, the second thing I'd like to share, my sweetly evil Penelope and her common reaction or evil tiger eye when she realizes after I make a batch of Nip and Kick Sticks to send off and they do not belong to her.

Yep, she hits me with some major cattitude, and I love her for it. She's a little lady that knows what she wants!

Now, I think I've provided enough cat related entertainment for today, please commence with your regularly scheduled day!

Cat Nip and Chew Toys,

Jenna
