Well the title of this is completely irrelevant to what I actually wore but...I hope you didn't forget about me! I haven't even been around the blog-land to read your blogs!
Speaking of your blog - if I'm not following you already or if you're not if I am - leave me your link in a comment so I can start following!
It's been quite the mini-whirlwind the past week. No surprise there since it was a big holiday week but I hadn't anticipated not finding the time to post. Nor did I find a lot of time to take photos of what I wore during my accidental hiatus. BUT I did snap some shots before the big 4th of July extravaganza.
The fiance and I went to my parents place to watch the fireworks like we normally do. Their complex always has a huge fire work display so it works out famously because we don't have to deal with the traffic.
Come back by WEDNESDAY so I can share with you some of the fun and unexpected fun from the past few days! (Hint - We had an expected visit from the cutest fella around)
Until then...here are some outfit shots!
My hair had to go up...it had what felt like a million bobby pins in it but it was TOO HOT to have it down.
I tried to crop this up so you could get a better idea of what my nails looked like - They are blue and red star stickers :)
4th of July mini-dance partay!
A really poor excuse for my take on what fireworks look like when being shot off...
Wears from Head to Toe -
Headband - OLD I think I bought it on Ebay over 4 years ago!
Earrings - Again...oldies but goodies and perfect for the 4th - I think I bought them on Etsy in a shop that is no longer open.
Dress - Dorothy Perkins - it's navy and white striped but it is SO hard to tell unless you see it next to black. (I think I've posted this dress before but it's been awhile...)
Shoes - Chinese Laundry - They are a navy blue with sparkles and were a bday gift from last year!
I'm glad to be back and I hope to get back in my routine of reading everyone's blogs because I have so fallen out of routine!! I need to catch up on what's going on in your world!
Talk to you soon and see ya Wednesday!
Great to hear from ya, I love your outfit posts! That dress is so super cute and I love how you coordinated it with your shoes and headband. My blog is http://kaw-studios.blogspot.com if you'd like to check it out. I post about photography, art, food, life, and occasionally some outfit posts - although also being in florida it has been so hot i haven't been in the mood.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back - I definitely missed you! And I love that dress, the shape of it is so cute.

Welcome back Jenna! I ended up taking a break too, there was just so much happening last week. I love this dress, such a classy way to sport the red, white, and blue :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Jenna! I really did miss you! But I'm glad to know you're back :p!
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable in that dress!
Hope you've started the week off with a smile ;D.
Love your style and you have a super cute blog!
ReplyDelete*waves* Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute patriotic outfit for the 4th! I wore stripes, but they were black and tan instead of blue and white. Oops! I did add some gold, so that could've represented a firework.
Hi there! Good to see you back! Love reading you blog :)
