Well there was a time this week that I didn't think I would get around to the proposal story vlog...BUT I did it!
It's not TOO long, just a bit over 7 minutes, so I'm hoping you can make it all the way until the end.
SO...without further adieu...
What did you think?
I always think it's strange to hear and see a blogger in action. We get so used to reading their words and seeing photos that it's like WHOA when you see/hear fellow bloggers speaking. It's fun though : )
PS - One year from today is the wedding!!! Ahhhhh!
Jennaaaaa I want to watch it but the video is private :( boohoo! I like hearing a good proposal story haha! Hope you have heaps of fun wedding planning :)
ReplyDeleteWhoops! I fixed it! Thanks for letting me know!
DeleteHahahah that's an awesome proposal story. Congratulations to you both :)
ReplyDeleteYay for your vlog! So fun to get to see you in real life- kinda :) Your story is funny & memorable! One year countdown is on- exciting! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI think your proposal story could totally go on Hallmark! It's very adorable and very original, though I do like your cat idea. And it sounds like you, your mother, and me are very similar-- NEED info! :) And Trixie is so cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the story! haha Happy weekend xxx
ReplyDeleteI love it! Haha and your cat proposal idea would have been awesome! Either way, i definitely teared up. <3
ReplyDeleteYep,...that's my girl!
ReplyDeleteThat was the cutest thing. You should vlog more, you're a natural!! And look at Trixie making a cameo. I saw a sneak peek of what I think might be engagement photos and they are GORGEOUS!! Anyway I want to go on and on about a lot of things so I must email you. Also thanks for coming up with a new phrase for PJs- fighting clothes :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that :) What a cute wee video!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the wonderful proposal! :)

I love it when bloggers make videos because it is a great way to get to know the person behind the writing.

ReplyDeleteHahahaha! That's so awesome. You fight the same way I do.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Now you have a fun story to tell for the rest of your life. :-)
Awe, hahaha! :D It was so cool to see you in motion and talking! And it is a funny story! :P I can totally picture myself too being shocked and pissed because of what happened right before the proposal, haha. And it's so cool that you chose a ring that you love ;).
ReplyDeleteTrixie is a sweetheart, too!
My proposal story might not be that interesting to others, but I'll always cherish that moment. It didn't come with a "Will you marry me?" because we already knew we were going to marry and I wasn't really expecting a ring because I'd told David I didn't want him to spend money on a ring (I wanted a ring, though, haha, but didn't want him to spend money). Anyway, on his second trip to Buenos Aires, as soon as we got to the apartment I'd rented, he said he needed to use restroom and carried his big suitcase with him to the restroom, hehe; because he had the ring in his wallet and the case in his suitcase (in case someone stole the ring or the suitcase got lost). When he got out he said a lot of sweet things that melted my heart and all I could think about was "Damn, I hate can't tell this story to my mom!". I guess that's the first moment she never got witness. Then David said something like' "Oh, she's seen what's just happened ..." And of course, I burst into tears, haha, happy ones :).
Thanks for sharing your story and keep the vlogs coming, please!!! ;D You're even sweeter in videos!
It is really strage to see a blogger in action, that is partly true. i remember I always used to read a blog about a girl who was living in Argentina and she told the adventures of getting a buenos aires apartment and everything. Once she uploaded a video about her days there and it was strange to see a face to put to all the stories she told!
