Random Wednesday #3 and the giveaway winner!

Hey lovelies!

First things first!

The KittyKeyCaps giveaway winner!

The winner is....

EVERYONE!

I just couldn't choose one person!
So....I went ahead and bought 4 extra packages so everyone who entered could get a pack! I did use random.org to choose the person who would get the pack I already had because I ordered the rest from the Forever 21 site so I have to wait to receive them! Comment number 5 (Alycia) will be the person I send the kitty key caps I already have to! I'll be contacting everyone for their addresses soon!

*Time for Randomness - *

- I officially closed up my DaintyPawsDesign shop so if you click on the "Woo Hoo it's Etsy" link above or the little photo of Penelope on the right it'll bring you too Georgia Peach Vintage

- My new favorite show is Once Upon A Time - Have you been watching it? I don't know if it's because I just LOVE Ginnifer Goodwin

*Random Photos*

Flashback photo! This is a photo my other half took of me while I was painting at our old apartment.

If you follow me on Twitter you've seen this but this is what I'm normally doing on the weekend...watching TV on the couch...with my computer and a cat in my lap.

Another blast from the past - My parents and my other half and I went to see Hairspray last year at the local dinner theatre in Jacksonville. I'm such a Hairspray fan...I couldn't pass out a photo with the Corny Collins sign! Don't mind the awful quality of photo...it was taken with a cell phone!

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas at the Casa!

I'm so excited to share these photos with everyone!

This is the first year that I've had an actual Christmas tree set up and to top it off it's in a house that I own! It's still hard for me to grasp that fact.

I didn't take a photo of my wreath that I made yet so I'll share that another day!

First up - the CUTEST ornaments ever! I participated in an ornament exchange and Meg over at The Kissy Pearl made me the most adorable ornaments I've ever seen! Four ornaments for four cats!

Benny

Trixie

Charlie (I love that Meg even included Charlie's little Charlie Chaplin mustache!)

Penelope (The ornament is orange but it was night time when I took these!)

The finished tree! Can you find all the cat ornaments?

Here are the finished yarn trees that I made over the weekend.

I had so much fun making these trees! The buttons are my favorite. I got everything from the clearance Christmas section at Joanns Fabric plus I had a coupon so all the wreath supplies (not pictured) and the yarn tree supplies only set me back 30 bucks!

Alycia gave me the idea to give the trees a try and I'm SO glad I did!
I highly recommend giving them a try they really don't take much time to do. All you need is foam trees from the flower section of most craft stores, yarn, pins to secure the yarn when you wrap it, and decorations!

Now I'm just crossing my fingers our tree stays up! Last year we had to put the tree outside on our porch at the apartment because Penelope kept trying to climb it!

PS - Today is the LAST day to enter the KittyKeyCaps giveaway!

Talk to you soon!

What I Wore - *Yellow and Flowers at the Antique Village*

'Ello Lovelies (I just went British there for sec...sometimes it's just a necessity)

How was your weekend? Did you do any Christmas related activities?
I'm happy to report I did everything I had planned on doing!

-I made a wreath.
-I made a little forest of Christmas trees
-We set up the tree
-And I took photos of some of the items for the soon to open shop

Success!
PS - I'll be posting photos of the wreath, the trees I made, AND my Christmas tree tomorrow!

These outfit shots are from the past weekend when my other half and I went to the Bayard Antique Village done the street from us. We took the shots in my favorite little house, it's all shabby chic items, plus I took some photos of the "wild" animals roaming around.

The white coffee table behind me...I love it...and it's a fair price of $50 bucks!

The blue mirror behind me is so quaint and delicate. It's got a cute little awning like shelf on it too. <3

Goodbye lovely mirror!

A wild cat in it's natural habitat of the Antique yard. What a life. Shade, a swinging bench, food, water. They seem very content!

Another one! The only cats that are there are grey cats. There are at least 4 of them but I'm sure there are more. I wonder if my Benny was there if I could pick him out of the crowd!

Antiques AND cats...always a good day at the village!

It's that Time Again - Fabulous Friday Finds!

I am so so ready for the weekend!

So far my plans consist of making a wreath and POSSIBLY ornaments.

And I'm going to start taking photos of the vintage items for my shop, slowly but surely it's all coming together. PS - if you want to stay up to date on items that'll be in the shop come by my facebook page, I am in the process of making albums for items that will be in the shop, and eventually will use them to give sneak peaks of the items before being listed on Etsy.

Okay enough of all that!

Here are the finds -

Bow Ballet Flat via UrbanOG - These beauties come in three different colors and I am obsessed with them! Such fun flats!

Navy Sailor Dress via Love Clothing - I know, I know...I'm kinda a sucker for nautical notions but it's sooooo cute!

Vintage Retro 1965 Ford Ice Cream Truck via KarasPartyIdeas - This amazing truck...is for sale...on ETSY!! Of course pick up would probably be best but it is so friggin' perfect!

Antique Porcelain Tea Kettle via BootsNGus - Such a pretty kettle, I love the shape of it, and the flower embellishments are divine!

Stump Ring via Digbyandiona - Okay, pretty expensive, but still what an awesome ring! This takes the customized jewelry cake!

So what are your plans for the weekend? Have you decorated for the holidays yet? We STILL haven't...hopefully we'll get the chance this weekend!

PS - Don't forget to enter the KittyKeyCaps giveaway because they are awesome and super cute!

Thrifty *Tutorial* Thursday - Holiday Edition #1

So the craft doesn't necessarily have to be for the Christmas holiday! Just any occasion that you want to include amazing and sparkly ornaments!

I thought it would be fun, since today is the FIRST day of December (oh my goodness can you believe it??) and it just so happens to fall on Thursday that I would feature a holiday craft each week leading up to the big 2-5!

I found this DIY and honestly couldn't believe how easy it was and it made me think...why have I not done this yet??

Silver Glitter Ornaments -
(of course you can choose any color glitter or anything that can easily be glued onto an ornament)

I haven't actually done this yet, but it's on my list, once I get paid next week!

To get the list of supplies and instructions check out ValleyandCoLifeStyle. I can't wait to try this out...maybe by next week our tree will be up!

Will you try to make your own glitterfied (yep.) ornaments this year?

*Oh! And don't forget to enter the Kitty Key Caps giveaway!*

Talk to you soon!
