It's here!! A bunch of random photos is here again...man a week goes by quickly :p
(Update - this post IS from yesterday - I had to repost it in order to fix my comments because they all disappeared when I got rid of Intense Debate comment form)
How has your week been going? Has anyone filed for their taxes yet? I always get so nervous, I literally have a panic attack before I file, I'm hoping I can pay off a good chunk of my credit card. (As long as I don't buy shoes...or dresses.)

I scored this amazing Escort suitcase for a whopping $3.00 and the adorable gold clutch for $2.00 and my absolute favorite find...that amazing Noah's Arc teapot for $3.00!! <3

The ever so lovely and talented Paige posted on her blog about this little guy and how she was looking to give him a new home. I immediately said "pick me!" because my books were in desperate need of protection. Gary (lovingly named by Paige) also had to get a peek outside at his new view.
Shoes!!!! I know, I know, if you saw my post yesterday you're probably thinking MORE shoes! Well only two more pair, the ones on the right are already in my closet, but the ones are the left were delivered yesterday. (And I have two more pair coming tomorrow...shhh!) The shoes on the left are from GoJane and on the right Spotted Moth

Annnnd....yep...khaki overalls. Another piece of clothing I got while out shopping at thrift stores. I just had to have them. I figured it's a small step up from wearing PJ's all the time at home. And that's my fancy iPhone cover. It's the closet thing I'll get to having a black cat...since my other half said I can't adopt anymore cats!
Lastly, the allusive Charlie girl, she doesn't look like it but she is extremely comfortable. She didn't move from this position for over an hour.

Holy Smokes...A Look into the deep dark realm of my closet!

Hey lovelies!! I'm excited and somewhat nervous to share some photos of my closet.
I've had a few people ask to get a peek into my closet and shoe collection so I finally snagged a few photos to share!
I want to explain my garment closet first. I have a pretty sizable closet to begin with but the wall in between the two doors makes absolutely NO sense! You can't get to anything that is behind the wall. The architect had a few screws loose...seriously. Luckily, I found the perfect sized garment closet a few months back to fill the wall space so I can use the whole span of the wall.
So...here it goes! (I swear I cleaned it just before the photos, but somehow, it still looks like a mess!)
On either side of the closet I have my shoes, belts on the door on the right and vintage dresses for GeorgiaPeachVintage are in there too! Safe from the cats! Those lovely dresses hanging on the garment closet...that would be a couple dress swap dresses from two lovely ladies! (Chantilly and Amber)

Inside the shallow depths of the garment closet...
The only thing in here are skirts and dresses and boots...you can see a fallen pair beneath the dresses!
So you see those drawers at the bottom? Well the left drawer has all my flats in them (I forgot to take a photo...it's full of flats!) On the right side....are tights...
I figured out a long time ago the best way for me to store my tights are in labeled ziplock bags, I also write where I bought them from in case I need to replace them, it's pretty perfect!
Whew! That's it! I should've taken better photos but my camera was dead and I was being lazy and didn't recharge it!

Hey everyone!!
Before I forget I'm on instagram now!! I got myself a very cheap 3G iPhone and I'm finally getting used to it. I'm SewSavoirFaire on instagram!
I took advantage of my other half being off on Sunday and we went out and about on a little thrifting adventure. (He loathes it...but puts up with it because I love it.)
I also listed a couple items in the shop, one being the ascot dress I mentioned on Friday, I have to hold off listing too many things at once!
So before I get to the outfit photos I wanted to share all the fabulous clothing items while we were out thrift shopping.
Skirts GALORE!! The lady at the counter was like - "So you're not afraid of color are you" - Duh! 4 skirts, 2 dresses, and that AMAZING crocheted cardigan that still had the tags & I got it for 5 bucks!!
I swooned for real when I found this vintage nightgown. It screams Sandra Dee <3 I just wonder if I should keep it or list it! I may just keep it hanging in the window because it's soooo pretty!
Okay, now to share the actual outfit post!
This is one of my favorite dresses from Eshakti it was actually on one of my past Friday Finds I eventually made it mine! The hearts are so fun and a red and black color combo is always fun. I had forgotten about this set of photos (they were only taken about 2 weeks ago) until I was making my new banner! This one almost slipped through the cracks.

I am ALWAYS excited to find and share my weekly finds with you all but I am more excited when it's pay day Friday. Sadly, that is not today, and there is one find in particular that I NEED but will have to wait one whole week to make it mine. All mine!! (Don't worry you can make it yours too...*hint* it's a print!)
Okay, so, what are your plans this weekend? I plan on living vicariously through you so really I'd love to know!
I'll be home for the most part. (Hello home body!) Plus, I have photos to take of some clothing I recently acquired for GPV (hint one is a uber cute ascot navy dress...*I wish it fit me!*)

My Heart Belongs to my Cat print via flapperdoodle - Do I really need words to explain how perfectly amazing this is?? And it is an 8x10 size which is perfect! PS - if you haven't guessed it, this is the find I mentioned up there in the first paragraph!)
Unicorn/Narwhal TEAM MAGIC shirt via theboldbanana - This shirt is too friggin' adorable. Look at that magical team! I would wear this far more often than acceptable I think.
Kitty Cat Night Light Polaroid via jerseymaids - This is one of the neatest things I've seen. Not just because it's a kitten. But jerseymaids makes night lights out of polaroid photos!!! You can see the dark and light version on the Etsy site and there are SO many more to choose from!!
Desk Organizer Zen Garden via KarolinfelixDream - There are more angles of this little gem on Etsy but I like the aerial view. What a earthy and different way to organize your desk! I really love the simplicity of the wood design.
Teddy Bear brooch via BeautySpot - I am smitten with the colors in this brooch not to mention the teddy bear is so darn cute!! <3 His pink little belly is adorable!

Hey everyone!!
First off...did you watch The People's Choice Awards??
I'm usually not a fan of award shows, mostly because I end up disagreeing with the winners, but I had a lot invested in this show.
I voted for a solid hour.
Which is a huge chunk of time for someone with the slowest internet EVER! (I loathe you CLEAR...and will be getting Comcast internet on Saturday!)
Are you happy with the winners? Who were you hoping won? Ian Somerhalder should have won the TV Drama Actor!!!! Ahhh!

I love being so connected. I do. I love Twitter, I love the bloggy world, the whole shabang!

Being so connected. Sometimes it's just overwhelming. I try to "take off" during the weekends to just sort of shut off and hang with my beau and the felines but I still can't pull myself away from the tweet world!
(but really...I love being connected more than I dislike it because I LOVE my bloggy/twitter buds!)

I LOVE finding an amazing pair of shoes that I can wear with so many things AND when they are friendly on the pocketbook it's even more amazingly perfect.

When I go back to buy a second pair of the shoes just in case something awful happens to the ones I already had and they are sold out of my size!!! Ugh...that broke my heart!

I love Etsy! I love all the features they've added for buyers and sellers, the way everyone can stay so involved, and how it feels like one big crafty community.

I'm kinda hatin' that Etsy doesn't have a guest check out option! It's crazy people have to sign up for an account and go through that whole process to make a purchase! It can be so so confusing if someone isn't super internet savvy or familiar with the site. Is anyone else with me on this?? I know Kate is with me on this one!
