Hey guys!
I'm sure everyone is busy in their own way on this Memorial Day but if you're like me...you're also online checking your favorite blogs and perusing the internet at some point in the day!
I wanted to make sure to have a fabulous post to share with you today when you hop online to make the rounds!
Philly Loves Lacquer is ringing in the summer season with a beautiful new collection!
The Summer Down the Shore Collection launches SOON...June 1st to be exact so get these babies on your radar...I can't believe June is almost here!
The collection consists of -
3 scattered holos
1 linear holo
1 glitter crelly
1 shimmer crème
1 jelly shimmer
1 glitter topper
Ooooh such a mixed bag. Love the variety of finishes so much!
I have four to share with you today and the remaining four to share tomorrow.
You know I'm a "photo heavy" blogger so I wanted to make sure to break this down into two posts so you can really get a good look!
Let's go!
Wildwoods by the Sea
(a dark seafoam scattered holo)
Indirect sunlight
IT'S SO LOVELY!!
Coats -
Two generous coats. One good thick coat would bring this to opacity. No issues with formula or application.
Color Intensity -
Oh it's divine. So so beautiful. I didn't have any specific order of swatching these but it just so turns out my favorite out of the collection was first! This is such a perfect color for the summer season. It's a really unique shade too. LOVE!
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat - Liquid Lacquer base coat
Island Beach
(a sand colored scattered holo)
Indirect sunlight
Coats -
Three thin coats. This is a thinner formula so multiple coats will be needed but will vary depending on the thickness of your coats.
Color Intensity -
This is such a perfect beach day color. You know you want to have something that'll catch the sun and shine but you don't want to have a mani that if chipped during all the activity and rough sand and have it be incredibly obvious that you're missing some polish...this is the winner. Luckily PhLL has a fab formula so it's unlikely it'll chip anyway! The scattered holo finish is perfect for this beautiful and subtle sandy color.

Watch the Tram Car, Please
(a bright yellow glitter crellywith a mix of matte blue and neon blue glitters in varying shapes and sizes)
Indirect sunlight
Coats -
Four thin coats. This polish has a thinner formula, which is good considering all the goodies within it, better thin than unworkable and thick! That means if you don't want a VNL (visible nail line) you're going to need to layer up or use a base color but it's up to you. I rather like this on it's own. Even with 4 or 5 thin coats there is no issue with it being too thick and ALL the glitters...even those little stars...were easy to manage and get out of the bottle!
Color Intensity -
Oh yeah. It's intense. In SUCH a fun and whimsical way. This baby will make a statement. I love the blue glitters in the multiple shapes and sizes. It's an unexpected color combo and I love how sassy it is!
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat - Liquid Lacquer base coat
Absecon
(a very light blue linear holo)
Direct partly cloudy sunlight
Coats -
Two thin coats. No issue with formula or application. A dreamy application.
Color Intensity -
Such a dainty and feminine blue. A blue like the sky on a perfect summer day. I love that this has a gray lean to it because it really gives so warmth to the blue. As you can see in the photos it can lean more blue and then have a more prominent gray lean to it depending on the lighting. Really a beautiful color for the changing seasons.
