Man oh man what a busy weekend!
I chopped off my hair...yaaaay!
(You can see a photo on my facebook page I posted on Saturday)
And I have family in town so all of Sunday was spent catching up and what not.
So I am exhausted! I need a nap but it seems that adults aren't allotted nap time like kids are. Being a grown up isn't all it's cracked up to be.
On the bright side I do have some fabulous polish to share.
Aly's Dream Polish has an oh so lovely collection called the Macaron Collection that consists of six pastel-esque hues. Tiffanytea has always been one of the favorites from this collection.
During the last preorder from Aly's a new polish was introduced named Tiffany's Revenge which is the more holographic more feisty version of it's predecessor.
Today I have both to share with you!
Indoor light
Direct sunlight
HOLY HOLO!!
Coats -
Three thin coats are best to get this opaque but it by no means is thick with three thin coats because it's not a thick polish to begin with.
Color Intensity -
This is such a stunner. It's not a bright in your face color but it's not a subtle color either. The holo is freaking divine even in regular indoor lighting. People WILL want to know what polish you are wearing so be prepared to spread the Aly's word!
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat -
Tiffanytea can leave a light blue and the Tiffany blue/teal. Also depending on skin tone.
Coats -
Two regular coats. This is a more creme base so it is opaque much faster.
Color Intensity -
Tiffanytea is the more subtle sister of Tiffany's Revenge. You won't get the holo effect in this one that you do with TR but it by no means should be forgotten! This isn't an in your face color. It's an oh so lovely pastel blue/teal with a shimmy shimmy shimmy of holo. The holo is more apparent in direct light and sunlight. I wasn't able to get a sun shot of this one as it was oh so dreary when I wore it.
Top Coat - HK Girl
Base Coat -
So the moral of the story is -
Both Tiffany's are very different. So different that having both is a great idea.
If I had to choose a favorite it would be Tiffany's Revenge as it's a very unique base color as it is...even without the addition of the holo rainbow! Tiffanytea is such a beautiful spring color though...so they both have different roles to play!
